Story:

• Clients need LATOKEN platform to correctly handle their requests now and in the future, so they can always manage their portfolios (even at the most volatile times) and have the best price execution.
• LATOKEN clients need institutional-grade API allowing them to safely invest their money without borders.
• They also need to be sure that our platform is secure, to be fully confident that they can safely trade/deposit their money.

Key PROBLEM's:

• Backend teamwide horizontal has SWAT acts (rotate into any dev unit and problem-solve/up-or-out/lead) successfully applied to 3 units by 2022Q4;
• 3 Middleware stateful services can be horizontally scaled to reach any desirable throughput by 2023Q1;

How:

• Implement product features core part into existing middleware;
• Decrease overall coupling in teamwide backend services;
• Cover existing services with unit & integration tests to reduce dev overhead to QA;

Functions:

• Agile : Focus on delivery, always know the goal, percentage of goal completion, and the date of the release. If you understand that the parameters are not feasible, you notify your manager.
• Architecture : Understand how our target architecture can handle a load of 10 million open sessions and a response of less than 100 ms. Understand the current bottlenecks and how to achieve the target performance and how to conduct development so as not to degrade system performance.
• Code : Independently solve a problem of average difficulty. Сode return rate is less than 20% for code-review and 10% for tests.
• Database : Know database structures, write queries that will meet the requirements of the architecture. From time to time you take tasks related to query optimisation.
• Bug fixing : Investigate root cause error-analysis. Describe error details in issue and fix errors quickly.
• Code review : Write easy-readable and maintainable solid code with clear functions naming and argument descriptions. Create self-documented code and reuse standards.

Requirement skills and experience:

• 1+ years of development experience with Java, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, WebFlux), experience in server API development.
• Understanding of microservice apps development principles, knowledge of k8s or docker.
• Experience with Quarkus, Vert.x, nogc, SQL (PostgreSQL or others).

As a plus:

• Experience in trading applications or backends.
• Experience in a trading, banking or finance environment.
• Experience in creating trading bots.
• Knowledge of Git / Grafana dashboards.
• Graduated from top university.
• Winner in TopCoder, ACM ICPC, Codeforces etc. competitions. winner of regional and national maths, physics, and computer science olympiads.
