about us: steinpilz bel - r&d office of the german company steinpilz gmbh, htp member. the main customer is the german company mercedes-benz ag. the company is currently working on 10+ projects that are used in production at 80+ factories and dealerships. within the company, processes are built based on the agile scrum and kanban methodologies. we use jira, confluence, github, ms teams. internal documentation, correspondence, meetings with the customer are in english.
responsibilities:
end-to-end alm, from app deployment automatization to healthchek and alerts inventory.
infrastructure assessment and management for on-prem and public cloud environments (k8s clusters, registries, managed dbs, etc.).
hybrid kubernetes environment management for private in-house clusters, restricted customer on-prem clusters, and public services like aks.
requirements:
strict adherence to infrastructure as code principles (environment change = deployment repo commit).
facilitating module-based but still monolithic apps migration to a more microservice-like model.
strong experience with containerization technologies (docker-like).
strong *nix system administration skills.
strong scripting/coding skills. software development experience is a big plus.
experience with any iac-related stack tools is welcome (kustomize/kpt/helm/pulumi/flux, terraform, ansible, or any other).
recent experience with public cloud providers offerings is also welcome (amazon, google cloud or, especially, azure).
ability to work independently and act proactively.
