As a QA engineer you will be a part of qic.online travel team, your main responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with developers, designers, analysts, and managers in a Scrum team.
• Test current products and identify deficiencies.
• Plan and coordinate testing activities, thoroughly identifying and documenting bugs.
• Suggest solutions to identified product problems.
• Investigate product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
• Plan, create, and manage testing documentation - checklists, test cases, etc.
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent sprint execution.
• In-depth understanding of the full product development life cycle.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

We work with: Selenium, Java, Maven, Selenide, TestNG, Allure, REST Assured

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer for Web applications
• Proficiency in software QA tools and processes
• Rich experience in functional testing and test case creation
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and general client-server architecture
• Critical thinker, with problem-solving skills and good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• English lvl B1+ - read project documentation, write test documentation, understand spoken English

Terms:

• Long-term service agreement contract with QIC
• We are diverse — our digital nomads work remotely from 18 different countries
• Payment in US dollars monthly to your bank account using SWIFT
• Full-time remote, work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday
• Vacation policy: Qatar Holiday Calendar, 20 workdays of vacation, and 10 sick-day-offs
• Performance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a raise in March and September
• Potential opportunity to apply for a Qatar ID and relocation to Doha, Qatar
