We are Coins.ph - an Asia fintech company. Our main product is a mobile wallet that helps people in Asia pay and transfer money without doubts.

We built one of the largest cash distribution networks in the Philippines, operating through over 33,000 partner locations domestically and over 500,000 locations worldwide.

The main objectives for the role would be system quality and reliability under pressure of load, and automated solutions for repetitive tasks.

Skills to have

• Experience (at least 3+ years) in developing functional, integration or performance testing systems (tooling or Development automation), infrastructure development;
• Experience in one of the following: test automation, refactoring code, test-driven development, optimizing software, debugging, building tools and testing frameworks;
• Past experience to write clean and understandable code (Python/Go);
• Knowledge and skills to explore new complicated corporate systems (API, mobile applications, etc);
• Understanding of IT system analysis techniques and Information Security fundamentals;
• Building test infrastructures using containerization technologies such as Docker and working within continuous delivery / continuous release pipeline processes;
• Common infrastructure and platform tools: Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, others.

Skills nice to have

• Infrastructure as a code(AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, etc);
• Experience with Agile Product Development processes and individual contribution;
• Configuration as a code and automation tools(Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc);
• CI/CD organization (e.g. GitLab CI/CD): templates, runners, management, maintenance.

Things to do

• Designing, developing, and maintaining frameworks for our code delivery infrastructure and providing automation expertise to our development teams;
• Write scripts to automate testing and create tools so developers can test their own code;
• Identify weak spots and constantly design better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems;
• Contributing toward predictable delivery of quality releases. Deliver projects related to findings, load, and functional testing;
• Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation;
• Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them;
• Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results;
• Use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality.
